In this episode of the SaaS Revolution Show, our host Alex Theuma is joined by Allan Mørch, Founder & CEO AskCody, who shares his story on resilience and how, after overcoming cancer, built a $5M ARR SaaS business.
You build this character around yourself, right? And everybody talks about founder-branding – I was the founder of AskCody and that was my identity, I couldn’t be anything else. And all of a sudden I looked in to the mirror and I just saw this guy that I couldn’t recognise, I didn’t know who that guy was. And I really wanted to be an entrepreneur because I fought so hard to make that my character and my identity, right? So my coping mechanism was to really escape from being a cancer patient, I couldn’t connect with being a cancer patient, I didn’t want to go to sessions with other cancer patients and talk with them, I couldn’t identify as that…
Allan shares:
- The founding story of AskCody
- His new perspective on life/business post-diagnosis
- The importance of team communication and support
- The best advice he’s ever received
- The hardest thing about scaling in 2023
- Why he joined the SaaStock Founder Membership (SFM)
